Club Nex Opens at Marathon Nextown

On Sunday, 30 August 2026, we opened Club Nex at Marathon Nextown with residents and their families joining us for a morning of sport, fitness, games and community activities. The clubhouse is now a new shared space for the
Nextown community, with facilities planned around everyday recreation, wellness, celebrations and time spent together.

The opening began with a warm welcome at the club entrance, followed by a Dhol Tasha performance and the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Residents were then taken on a guided tour of the facilities before the morning moved into a
series of activities across the clubhouse.

A morning with the Nextown community

The inauguration programme was designed to help residents experience the clubhouse as they would use it in daily life. The event included traditional games, a pickleball introduction, badminton activities, a Zumba session, turf-
based games and a dedicated kids’ segment. The morning concluded with snacks and time for neighbours to meet and connect.

For us at Marathon, this was also an important moment in the development of Nextown. As more families make the township their home, shared amenities play a meaningful role in how a neighbourhood comes together. Club Nex adds
spaces where residents can build routines, pursue interests, host occasions and spend more time within their own community.
