Currently commuters from Bhandup need to travel by the perennially jammed JVLR or take a circuitous route from Ghodbunder road to get to the Western suburbs. The 12-km extensive project will be constructed in four phases. The first phase is completed and the work for the rest of the phases is ongoing. The timeline for this project is approximately 48-60 months. 

4. 90-Ft Road

The proposed 90 foot road will run through the heart of Bhandup, parallel to LBS Marg and will significantly reduce traffic woes within Bhandup. With the proposed 90-feet road and other road widening projects coming up as per the city Development plan, internal connectivity in Bhandup is set for a massive upgrade. The widening roads will reduce traffic congestion and facilitate a hassle-free intra-city commute.
